Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no forms that ask about you, no cookies and no analytics. The tools work in your browser and send nothing anywhere.

Draft for owner and legal review. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

Nothing to sign up for

There are no accounts, newsletters, comment boxes or contact forms here, so this site never holds your name, email, address or Starlink account details.

What the tools do with your answers

The eligibility checker, the first-year calculator, the date finder and the cause finder run inside the page. A plan, price, date or answer you enter stays on your device; none of the tools asks where you live or who you are.

The date finder builds its calendar file on your device and saves it from the page, with no upload. When one tool passes a price to another, it travels after the “#” in the address, the part browsers don’t send to the site.

What’s kept in your browser

A single note: if the first-visit offer card opens, a time stamp named offer-popup-seen goes into local storage so the card stays closed afterwards. It never leaves your browser, and clearing this site’s data deletes it.

Search compares your words with a list of this site’s pages, in your browser. It doesn’t put them in the address bar, send them to us or store them.

Analytics

This site runs no analytics: no Google Analytics or other counting script, no cookies, and nothing loaded from other companies’ servers. Fonts and images come from this site itself.

After you click a referral button

starlink.com opens in a new tab and Starlink’s own privacy policy takes over; this site passes Starlink nothing about you. If you then order, the site owner is the person whose link you used and can follow the sign-up’s progress: Starlink’s Referrals page labels referrals Pending, Processing, Rewarded, Complete, Failed or Ineligible, and can show an “Expected” date (our reading of the starlink.com page code)[1]. When a referral shows as Ineligible, hovering over the status shows the reason (on the referrer's Referrals page)[2]. Details: what the referrer can see.

Hosting

Vercel hosts the site and handles standard request data, such as IP addresses, to serve and protect it under Vercel’s own policy.

Changes to this page

The date at the top of this page moves when the policy changes. This site has no contact channel, so there is no inbox for privacy requests; we hold no personal data to look up.
