Which invoices the $100 can and can’t pay
Account Subscription
is the monthly service charge, paid in advance for the dates shown: the credit comes off this one. The sign-up order (kit, shipping, any activation), a demand surcharge order and a partial service invoice after an upgrade are one-time or prorated charges, which Starlink says credits don’t pay. What the credit covers.
Surcharges in late October
The glossary gives a ceiling, not an amount for your address. RV Mobile Internet reported on Oct 30, 2026 that surcharges had been reduced in several areas, with $500 near Seattle, $250 in Enumclaw and Alaska down from $1,500 to $500. Your order summary shows any surcharge before you pay.
